Which model should I start with?
Amara S1.2 for general work, Amara Quick for high-volume simple tasks, Syntic Code for software. Then measure; see Choosing a model.
Why can’t I see a model in GET /v1/models?
Your plan level is below the model’s minimum, or your organization’s zero data retention setting excludes it.
Do temperature and top_p work?
Not today: sampling is fixed and those fields are accepted and ignored. Per-model support is planned; see Sampling.
How much notice do I get before a model is retired?
No notice period is committed yet. A minimum notice period is Proposed — not offered; see Deprecation policy and the current status on Deprecations.
What is the context window?
262,144 tokens for prompt and reply together, with an opt-in extended context on supported models.
Are model names case-sensitive?
Yes. Send them exactly: Amara S1.2, with the space and capitals.
