Is my data used to train models?
No. Prompts, outputs and files sent through the API are not used for training.
How long are requests stored?
According to your organization’s retention settings; zero data retention organizations have content discarded after the request.
Can I keep data in the EU?
Yes, with data residency at the workspace level, or per request with the region field (Data residency per request).
Can I hold the encryption key myself?
Enterprise organizations can use customer-managed keys for stored data.
How do I delete everything about one end user?
Delete their user profile with delete_memories=true, delete their files, and delete any batches whose results contain their data.
Who can see members’ chats?
Only an Enterprise organization’s compliance key, through the Compliance API, and every access is logged.
